Paragonah Sprint Triathlon Information

Registration must be received by July 23rd 1:00pm.  A $10.00 Late fee will be applied after July 1st

 

Schedule of Events

6-6:30 am  Check in at Paragonah Town Hall.  Park on Paragonah Main Street. *Keep area open around race transition areas.

7:00 am  Race starts

8:30-10 am Breakfast: (provided for all participants- $3 for non-participants)

9:30-10 am  Awards: 1st place Team Relay in Sprint & ½ Spring & 1st place male and female in Sprint and ½ Sprint- Adult; Youth (12-17); Child (under 12)

 

Helmets are required for biking.  The road is paved for the 8.9 mile route.    

 

Parking in Paragonah:  Use Main Street in front of the LDS Church or the city park (50 W. Center).  Keep the fire station area (100 W. Center St.) clear.

 

First Aid Station:  Provided by the Paragonah Volunteer Fire Department at the Fire Station.

Beaver Valley Hospital, 1109 N. 100 W., Beaver, UT  84713

 

Restroom Facilities:   Paragonah LDS Church (use South West doors).

 

Biking/Running Routes:  See Maps- routes will be marked.  All participants must follow the Rules of the Road.  There will be no road closures. You must yield to all traffic.

 

Water Stations:  Intersection of Gap Road and 2200 W., Adams’ Farm (near Kane Springs road and 2200 N.), Paragonah Fire Station, and 300 E. Center in Paragonah.

 

Waivers:

1.Waiver on the registration form to participate requires your signature (or digital signature on the online form)

2. UDOT - All participants must sign a Waiver and Release of Damages and Indemnification Form. (or digital        signature on the online form) 

3. Parents will be required to sign a waiver for children under 18 that are participating.  *Parents are                         also required to supervise their children during the event.

*If registering online, all forms will be digitally signed at the completion of your online registration.

Points of interest in Paragonah:  Boyd's U.S. Map (100 So. 160 W.); Veteran's Memorial (Paragonah Cemetery); Tanning Wheel, Tithing Lot, and Relief Society Hall (Paragonah Main Street) School Bell (West of Fire Station).

On July 24th, Paragonah Town will have their annual Pioneer Program, parade, lunch, pie auction, and activities 10:30am-1pm*Proceeds from the pie auction and lunch go to the Paragonah Civic Committee. 

 

All proceeds of the race go to the Paragonah Community.
